But seriously, people, isn't the Swissmemory Swiss Army Knife with USB Flash Drive just the best thing ever? My first Swiss Army Knife met an unfortunate end in an unreachable spot beneath the porch of my previous apartment, so I've been considering getting a new one anyway. Hmmm.

That is exciting!

The best unusual USB drive that I've seen is a Barbie-esque doll -- and instead of a head, she has the USB plug. Looks somewhat disturbing sticking out of the side of the computer.

Neat, but I'd be afraid it would get confiscated at some airport and then I'd lose my soccer rosters and knitting patterns and stash summary. Maybe the headless Barbie would be better for me.

The knife is cool, and considering the way Victorinox has always operated, not entirely surprising. They usually manage to stay on top of the trends in portable accessories.

As to the issue of confiscation at the airport - the full description points out that the USB drive can be separated from the knife body for travel safety.

BTW, Kat, congratulations on your new toy! May you have many happy viewing hours. :)
