The guy in the Human Torch costume has to stand next to the Thing. Otherwise no one would know what he was supposed to be. I'd be scared to see Sue or Reed.
Since many of the shows you listed as favories are sci-fi/fantasy is it safe to assume you read a lot of sci-fi/fantasy as well? It seemed like a few years ago media tie-ins ran the show. The shelves were full to bursting with Star Trek novels, Star Wars novels, X-Men novels, Dragonlance novels, you name it. The only non-media books were from established series like Xanth and the Heralds of Valdemar. Now it looks like media tie-ins are fading (but not fully going away) manga is taking control of the shelf space and we've seen a string of, I say erudite books, has come into play. Books like The Historian and The Lost Armies of Cambyses. Where do you see the industry, especially in these genres, going in the future?
