This is why I need to get married.

No, actually, I am not okay.

I came home from class at 11pm tonight to find a badly-leaking roof and a dead mouse (in a trap) in my silverware drawer.

(Or maybe I just need Defulct back.)

UPDATE: The mouse has been disposed of (along with the trap, I must admit). Aren't you proud of me?

I am proud of you. I must admit that I usually delegate "dead thing" removal to DH. Ufortunately (or maybe it's fortunately) we often have to perform this task as there are 2 cats and a dog that let us live here.

Yes, but what about the leaky roof?

BTW, I can totally relate! :)

UGH! That's awful!

Ah, but only if you can find a boy who's willing to take care of those things ;-)
Drew and I had to make an official trade -- he handles things with 8 or more legs, I handle everything else. Damn that "gender equality."

Very proud of you. Go, grrrl!

Marrying for mouse/spider disposal doesn't always work out. Don't marry a kind hearted man. I mean, I empathize, but if you're a scary looking spider and you want to live, stay out of my shower.

I put mousetraps in paper grocery bags. Then I only have to barely glance in to see that the trap has done its thing. Close up the bag, throw the whole works away......

Eeuuuwwwwwww.

Bugs, no problem. Mammals, well, guilt over offing cute little fuzzy guy.

We've killed four mice this fall. They seem to come in spurts....
