Can we stop calling everything that even vaguely resembles a political scandal "blahblah-gate" now, please?

Oh yeah, definitely. Although the first time I read it I thought you were saying they were actually calling something the "blahblah-gate" and I was trying to figure that one out. ;-)

Thank you! Freshman year at GW I lived across the street from the Watergate. It's a building people. A building that was broken into. That's why it was the "Watergate" scandal.

Copywriters in the 19th century had no problem with sensational headlines. Perhaps we just need some creative muckrakers.
