The thing that's amazing to me in this situation (or any similar one involving any politician on either side of the aisle; if it were a Republican in these headlines I'd have exactly the same reaction) is that this was only two years ago; the guy was very much in the public eye and KNEW he'd be running for President. From a purely practical standpoint, wouldn't you think that would have influenced his decision-making process at the time? "Yes, truly, you're a lovely woman, but I just can't get involved with you for so many reasons." How hard is it to say that? Maybe I live in a fantasy world.
