Also hopefully! they'll have all the qualities you outlined because that would be what I would want in a President too, but they're also going to be human. No matter who is elected, they'll screw up. With any luck, not that badly this time.

Which is a long winded way of saying that I don't want Sarah Palin as VP because of her politics but I would not discount her as a candidate because of her "folksiness" and it's a little grating to hear that as a reason when there are so many actual political/societal reasons to use.
