I wound up walking into the building this morning with a coworker, and after exchanging those wry half-smiles that I'm sure are the universal "walking into the cube farm yet again" expression, we had the following exchange:
R: Well, this is fun.
Me: Always.
R: I don't want to be here today.
Me: As opposed to most days, when you really want to be here?
R: Well, most days I . . . Never mind. I got nothin'.
Seems to be going around. Tell me, is anyone actually having a good week?

My week was iffy too. I can tell you that on the 15th Saturn "squared" Pluto. According to Astrology.com, "Saturn imposes limits, while Pluto tends to bring out obsessive behaviors. Saturn also produces a black cloud of pessimism to affairs, while Pluto intensifies the emotional impact of events.... Frustration may be inevitable."
I don't always believe this stuff, but knowing about it kind of makes me feel better!

I am having a fabulous week. My husband took a week of his use-or-lose leave, so it is all togetherness all the time and we are having an absolute blast. (Sorry.)
Ah. Saturn explains my off mood this week. Thanks to Eliz for that.
My week? It's fine. I've gotten what I wished for, and then some--I wanted a week off from the survey call center to rest my voice. I asked. I got time off. Then, the next project was stalled by the client, so... the entire call center is off until further notice. Still working out whether I choose to feel that this is a good thing or a panic moment. Meantime, I've been enjoying the free time and getting stuff done. So it balances out.
