Posted by Jocele at June 7, 2006 11:20 PMYou know, Kat, you're little & cute and all, but really, you're just this Pandora's box of enabling. Sign me up. I'm reading the new Evanovich on the 20th & I'll line up some real books as well.
Posted by Erica at June 8, 2006 03:25 PMthe library here had a winter reading program for growned-ups, and i won a free used book, but i was really in it for one of TEN hotel stays... but i didn't win.
Posted by cubbie at June 8, 2006 07:08 PMI did win a mug and a pair of Minnesota Twins tickets in the summer reading program here a few years ago. I love the mug - it's red and says "Hot Reader."
Posted by Chris at June 9, 2006 07:45 PMQuestion: What if I'm reading from a collected works? (Like Shakespeare plays.) Should I just pretend that it's its own book? Cuz I ain't buyin' a standalone _Measure for Measure_ :)
Posted by Kate at June 9, 2006 08:53 PMI have a dilemma. I just spent 10 days reading Collapse by Jared Diamond, but then he went and said something ignorant that pissed me off and I don't want to finsih reading the book.
But I'm over 200 pages into it! Do we get page # credits for books we toss across the room? Or should I just suck it up and finish the $#%* thing and post a long rant about it on my blog when I'm done?
