Well, we've had our heat on for weeks, so you've beat us :)
Posted by Tracy at October 15, 2006 10:46 AMI have the opposite problem, my apartment is always wayyy too hot. It's about 82 in the bedroom right now, and the heat is off. Hot water / steam pipes run along all the walls, I guess. Free heat (but bad for my migraines). Wanna trade?
Posted by Ali at October 15, 2006 10:57 AMIt's been unseasonably cold this fall. Don't suffer so! Turn the heat up a bit more...
Posted by Chris at October 15, 2006 01:41 PMNot a wuss. Definitely not a wuss. I consider myself hardy, but my threshhold is in the 55 degree range. When it gets to that temp I turn on the heat, energy savings be damned.
Posted by kmkat at October 15, 2006 08:27 PMIf it helps you feel better, here in Rhode Island, I have been walking around the house wearing a long-sleeved shirt, heavy sweatshirt, sweatpants, heavy socks AND my Uggs slippers. To top it all off, I have my grandma's crocheted ripple afghan around my lower body while I am knitting!
Posted by Kimberly at October 15, 2006 10:09 PMSo far, no furnace, be we heat primarily with wood. We've had maybe 3 evening fires to warm things up a bit this season.
