Prize (after Christmas) to the first person who guesses what movie I'm watching while I furiously knit really bulky scarves. The above subject line is a quote from the movie. Another favorite: "That's what tapestries are for."
Also:
"I know. You know I know. I know you know I know. We know Henry knows, and Henry knows we know it. We're a knowledgeable family."
And:
"I could peel you like a pear and God himself would call it justice."
Random hint: Cate should get it, for a sort of tangential reason. ;-)

The Lion is Winter!
That's my favorite line: "I could peel you like a pear and God Himself would call in justice." I adore Eleanor of Aquitaine! And Kate, of course! :-D

I should add that my obviously assuming you're watching the original! Has anyone actually watched the made-for-TV with Glenn Close? Should I waste my time?

Haha! Can you believe I haven't seen that movie since long before the kids were born. We really must sit down and watch it. People frequently approach me with "I was just watching..." and then ask if it was intentional (we were aware of it, but it was not the point, if that makes sense. Both were family names, and man, finding boys names that are unusual but not goofy is HARD.) Anyway, go Courtney!
I love that movie, must add it to the Netflicks queue. I'm going through withdrawal. All this holiday knitting to finish and the hotel only has HBO. Don't they know I need to knit to old movies, not these 'action-packed' new ones.
