Well, at least I finished one of the red scarves before Easter:
That's Dave's Scarf, in sort of wonky colors. The close-up:
After all my complaining at the beginning, I think I actually like the way it looks all done. Let's hope my brother likes it too.
Since I finished that, I moved on to April's Project Spectrum color: orange. The Asymmetrical Cable Hat from One Skein:
Well, that's the beginning of it, at least. It's going astonishingly quickly. As much as I generally prefer small needles, I must admit that it's kind of fun to see this hat appear so quickly on size 11s.

On my monitor, the scarf appears pink, not red. So, I'll just take your word for it. The pattern is really pretty and works equally well for men and women. I'm sure he'll like it.
Love the pattern you used for the scarf! Heh, I'm doing something with doubled worsted on 13s right now, and it's boggling to see how fast it grows compared to socks on 0s... Have a great weekend!
Hi from Austria! Wow, your scarf turned out so great, I love the cables! And the orange color you chose for the Cable Hat absolutely rocks, perfect for Project Specturm and perfect for spring! Looking forward to seeing the finished hat in all its glory!
Happy Easter!
The scarves look really nice. I have been thinking about getting the one-skein book- there are a lot of cute things in it, but I have soooooo many pattern books- but I did finally get the Yarn Harlot's book. It's really great (just like you said)
