UFO cleanup!?! A fabulous way to start the year. Sign me up, please. I'll start Janaury with those lovely Bearfoot socks I thought I was going to wear to Rhinebeck. Back when I thought I had a shot at actually going.

Ordinarily to join a thing would be the death of a project...but I was already thinking along these lines...so count me in.

Knit goddess help me, I have to get SOME of this stuff done.

I'm in, but I may have to resurrect the same UFO for a few months. It's a crochetted kitty blanket. I did like one square and it went unfairly into UFOdom. It'll take more than a month to finish it, but it will be done.

I was just looking at my works-in-progress and despairing .... so I'm in. I've got to clear some of these things off the needles.

A great way to motivate me to get back to those UFOs, or so I say everytime I join one of these. But since I plan to use up stash in 2007, it's a great way to clear out the UFOs along side. Sign me up!

Sign me up! I read about this yesterday and I dreamed about it all night (I know crazy). So I guess that I really must do it! I don't have enough UFO's to do all 12 months (at least I don't think I do...I know it's a little sick...I actually usually finish projects). But I do have a few and then I figure I will work on all the ones that I specifically bought yarn for a specific pattern and never have started it. In my book those are also UFO's. So the yarn will either be added back to my stash or the project actually started. I'm so excited!!!

I don't know if I have 12 UFOs, but count me in. And once I get through the UFOs, I can start on the projects that I planned to start (and finish) in 2006. That should cover all 12 months easily.

I'm so in. I really need to clear my head and I can't with all these blocked up projects languishing. I admit, my first UFO that gets attention may be a rip-out because I really want to bang out as many red scarves as I can before the month is over, but I will be finishing-FINISHING-the rest of my stuff as bob is my witness.

I'm in for half the year. I'm down to 6 knitting WIP's, all the old UFO's went away a year and a half ago, but I found myself starting too many this past year, so have active 6 projects, and for my well being of mind, that's too many, 'cuz I've got far too many to-admit-to sewing UFO's. By limiting my UFO deal-with-it strategy to one a month iwth the knitting, I take the stress off to get it all done *NOW, and I can focus on the goal I have of 4 finished UFO's/month in my sewing room.

Please count me in, I am already making an effort in this direction, but this is even more incentive! I'm including some UFO bead projects along with my knitting!!

Um. I have abandoned the quilting world and entered the knitting world with the promise to myself that I wouldn't accumulate UfO's. Now quilting UFO's--I could do this challenge for several years. But knitting--I've successfully limited myself to 3--no more--at a time. Right now I'm down to one. Don't hate me. Can I do quilting ones? Can I include things I have yarn for that I haven't started yet? Hmm.

I'd like to join. Finishing my UFOs is one of my knitting goals for this year. This sounds like it would help me meet that goal.

Just came across your challenge - sign me up! I dug out all my UFO's today and have 25 - well, 24 actually, one got finished today - so maybe I'll get more than 12 done. I'm committing to no new projects and no new yarn purchases until the UFO's are gone! Sure hope I can make it.

I was thinking about setting this challenge for myself anyway but if I have lots of other people to encourage me it will be so much easier! It was brought home to me this week when I had to empty the space under the sofa bed (which is where my yarn and UFO's hide) how many UFO's I have...and some are only UFO's because they need sewing up.
I will post my list of UFO's on my blog later....off to find them all and feel even more guilty....

Oh wow. I had suggested to my fellow Blogstalkers that we photograph our WIPs/UFOs and show them on our blogs. My 14 are up on my blog and I would welcome some more incentive to finish them! I particularly like the rule that states we don't have to finish them within a given month. So count me in!
